Free tool

Type your website address and we read its public code for the tools that measure it: Tag Manager, GA4, Search Console, Bing, Clarity, the Meta Pixel and a consent banner. You get a plain list of what we found and what we could not see. We do not save your address or the result.

Eight checks

What we look for

  • 01

    Tag Manager

One container that holds your tracking tags, so each tool is added and changed in one place.

  • 02

    GA4

Google's analytics tool. It counts visits and the actions that matter to you.

  • 03

    Search Console

Shows how Google finds and lists your pages. Sites often prove ownership with a tag in the page.

  • 04

    Bing Webmaster Tools and UET

The same view for Bing search, and Bing's tag for measuring ads.

  • 05

    Clarity

Microsoft's free tool that shows how visitors move through your pages.

  • 06

    Meta Pixel

Tells Meta which visitors turned into leads or sales, from the browser.

  • 07

    Meta Conversions API

Sends the same actions from your server, for the visitors a browser blocks.

  • 08

    Consent banner

Tracking that needs permission should wait until the visitor agrees.

Straight answers

What it cannot see

  • 01

We read, we do not run

We read the code your page is sent with. We do not run it, click your banner or see what loads after a visitor agrees. So we cannot say whether tags wait for consent.

  • 02

    Other script files

A tool loaded from a separate script file, rather than from the page or your Tag Manager container, may not show. That is why a miss says "not found in the page's own code".

  • 03

    Set up on a server

The Meta Conversions API runs on a server. No outside check can see it, so we say so instead of guessing.

  • 04

Found is not the same as working

Seeing a tag does not prove it fires when it should. That takes a test in Tag Manager's preview mode, which is part of how we hand a project over.

Good questions

Common questions

Is the tracking check really free?

Yes. You do not need to give an email address or create an account, and nothing is locked behind a form. If you want help with what it finds, you can book a call, but the check does not depend on that.

Do you keep my website address or the result?

No. Our server reads the page, sends you the answer and keeps neither. There is no database behind the tool and no email list attached to it, so there is nothing for us to sell, share or lose. You can run it as often as you like.

Why does it say it cannot tell?

Some tools leave no mark in a page. Search Console and Bing can be proved by DNS or a file, and Clarity can be switched on by another tool. We would rather say we cannot tell than call something missing when it may be there.

Is this a full tracking audit?

No. It checks only what shows from outside, so it is a quick first look. A full audit goes inside your accounts, tests that every tag fires and checks your consent set-up. That testing is part of our tracking and website ecosystem service.

Why could it not read my site?

Some sites sit behind a firewall, a login page or a bot check that turns our request away. When that happens we say so rather than guess. You can still book a call, and we will look at the site together with you.

Want it done properly?

Fix what it finds

Our main service sets up the tools above, tests every tag and hands it over so you can check it yourself.
